About The Marathon Blueprint

The Marathon Blueprint was created to help runners train smarter, prepare better and achieve the marathon they know they are capable of.

Hi, I'm Caroline

I’ve completed 13 marathons across the world, including becoming an Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Finisher and completing Boston and London six days apart.

Over those marathons, I have experienced the highs, the challenges and the lessons that come with marathon training and race day. Every marathon has taught me something different about pacing, fuelling, mindset, race strategy, recovery and balancing training around everyday life.

I’ve learnt that marathon success is about far more than simply following a plan or ticking off the miles. It is about knowing how to pace yourself, fuel properly, manage the tougher moments and arrive on race day confident in your preparation.

Those experiences now shape the support and guidance I give to runners inside The Marathon Blueprint.

Alongside my own marathon experience, I’m also a qualified Leader in Run Fitness and also coach weekly sessions with my running club, Bramhall Runners.

I’m also trained in transformational life coaching, which shapes how I support runners throughout marathon training.

Marathon training is not just physical. Confidence, mindset, self belief and managing self-doubt all play a huge part in the experience — particularly during tougher periods of training and in the lead-up to race day.

In the later miles of the marathon, mental strength often becomes just as important as physical preparation, especially when fatigue builds, pacing becomes harder and runners have to keep trusting their preparation.

My Coaching Approach

My coaching approach is:

The focus is helping runners train smarter, prepare better and give themselves the best possible chance of achieving the marathon outcome they are capable of.

TRAIN SMARTER

PREPARE BETTER

RACE STRONGER

The right coaching support can completely change the way you train, prepare and perform on race day.

Because getting to the start line isn't the goal.

Achieving the marathon outcome you're capable of is.
